Once your booking is confirmed, your service is guaranteed. The day before your transfer, we will reconfirm your journey and provide you with your driver’s contact details and vehicle information. This ensures clear communication and eliminates the chance of any last-minute issues.

What type of vehicle should I choose?

When choosing your vehicle, it’s important to consider not only the number of passengers but also your luggage size. We guarantee the type of vehicle you reserve, but we cannot ensure all passengers and luggage will fit unless you inform us of your needs in advance. Our fleet includes sedans, station wagons with space for 4 large suitcases, spacious minivans, 7-seaters, and large minibuses and coaches for up to 55 passengers.

Does my baby count as a passenger?

Yes, always. Some customers mistakenly assume that babies don’t count as passengers or plan to hold them on their lap. This is extremely unsafe and strictly prohibited by Spanish traffic laws. Babies and children must always travel in an appropriate child car seat based on their age and size. MarbeTaxi provides baby seats if requested at the time of booking. If not requested in advance, we cannot guarantee the assigned vehicle will have the required child seat.

How will I know my booking has been successfully made and recorded?

After completing your booking, you will receive an automated message confirming that your request has been received. Shortly after, during our office hours, you will get a second message with the full confirmation, assuring that your reservation has been properly registered and scheduled.

Is there an emergency phone number I can call?

Yes. If you need to contact us in case of an emergency or unexpected issue, you will find an emergency phone number included in your booking confirmation. Our team is here to help you when you need it most.

How far in advance can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking at any time with no cost. However, we kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows cause significant disruption, especially during busy periods when we turn down other requests to honour confirmed bookings. Early notice helps us maintain the quality and reliability of our service for all clients.

Can I change my booking if I need a different vehicle or pickup time?

Yes, you can modify your booking at any time. For guaranteed availability, please request changes at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. If you contact us within 24 hours of your trip, we’ll do our best to accommodate the update, but we cannot promise availability due to scheduling constraints.

Once at the airport

My flight is delayed — will my driver still be waiting?

Yes. Your driver will monitor your flight in real time and will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall as soon as your plane lands. No matter how long the delay, your driver will be there to greet you.

How will I recognize my driver?

Your driver will be standing in the arrivals area of Malaga Airport holding a sign with your name on it. This is a mandatory exit area for all arriving passengers after collecting their luggage. As you leave the baggage claim, you’ll pass through the arrivals hall, where drivers and rental car company staff wait to meet their clients. Your driver will be there with your name sign, ready to give you a warm welcome and assist with your luggage.

What should I do if I can’t find my driver?

At peak times, Malaga Airport can get extremely crowded, making it difficult to locate your driver immediately. Don’t worry—just contact us or call your driver directly using the phone number we provide in your confirmation message.

Do I need to show my booking confirmation to the driver?

It’s not mandatory, but it’s recommended. Showing your booking confirmation on your phone helps ensure you’re meeting the correct driver, especially in cases where there may be other passengers with the same name. Your driver will also verify that your trip details match those on his schedule.

What if my luggage takes too long to arrive — will my driver leave?

MarbeTaxi offers 60 minutes of free waiting time from the moment your flight lands. If you experience delays due to lost luggage, long passport control queues, or other unexpected issues, please call us or your driver as soon as possible. If we are unable to reach you after 60 minutes and haven’t received any update, the driver may leave, and the booking will be considered a no-show.

After the trip

Should I tip the driver?

Tipping is not mandatory in Spain, but it is always appreciated. If you’re happy with the service and wish to leave a gratuity, your driver will be delighted to receive it — tips go directly and entirely to the driver as a thank-you for their work.
