The idea behind MarbeTaxi began in 2022—a year that marked the rebirth of tourism in Spain after the global events we all remember from 2020. At that time, the professionals who now form this company were experienced workers—each with over 10 years in the taxi and private transfer sector in Málaga—employed by leading companies in the industry.
From Experience to a New Vision
Two years of nearly non-existent tourism forced many companies to reduce expenses, sometimes at the cost of service quality. When tourism returned, not all of them chose to restore high standards, instead focusing on recovering lost profits. These cutbacks often impacted customer satisfaction and, indirectly, employee morale.
That situation led us to consider starting a new company—one that would bring together the right team of drivers, reservation managers, customer service agents, and digital marketing experts. A company built on respect for quality service and working conditions, benefiting both customers and employees.
In 2023, we established the foundation, the values, and the roadmap for this project. The website marbellaairporttransfer.com was the seed from which today’s MarbeTaxi Group S.L. was born. In June 2024, we rebranded under our current commercial name: MarbeTaxi—a unified identity for all our websites and business profiles.
